UC Irvine sophomores Anna Vogtmann and Sameen Andar finished fifth and sixth, with senior Hannah Chau taking seventh in the Big West Conference women's cross country final at the Ag-Ops course in Riversie, Calif. Vogtmann covered the 6-kilometer layout in 19:52.8, Andar clocked 19:57.6 and Chau ran 20:01.0 for the Anteaters, who were edged for the women's team title by Cal Poly by a 63-64 margin. It equaled the best finish for UC Irvine at the conference final since 2008.
